steam output +solid construction +multiple settings +dual purpose (iron/steamer -very short cord -difficult to balance on resting plate -small water tank Overall, this is a very good steamer. I primarily use it for steaming, though it seems as though it would work well as an iron, too. The unit itself has dome heft to it (in a good way) and feels very solidly built. It does not feel cheap or like it will break soon. While I wish there were more holes in the unit to disperse the steam in a larger area, it still does an excellent job of steam output, which leads to an efficient steaming session. I suspect there are fewer holes because of the dual function as an iron, so I understand it.
